Niki and RIchie are sweet two-month old puppies, sisters that were dumped in the garden of an apartment building. Lucky for them, someone took them in for a few hours and called us to rescue them. Our teen volunteers from Ronson school gave them foster homes. Niki was adopted 21.11.09, Richie still needs a home.

פיצקי עדיין לא מצאה בית לתמיד, עדיין נמצאת אצל משפחה אומנת. אולי היא לא מלכת היופי אבל היא הכלבה העדינה והמתוקה ביקום. היא לא תזיק לאף אחד. הפרוה שלה כל כך רכה, כיף ללטף אותה.

Pitzky has fully recovered. She is a soft and gentle little puppy, loves kids, gets on well with dogs and cats. Her face looks like it's too big for her body at the moment, and she is really cute!!!

26.7.09 ביום שני שעבר, בשעת לילה מאוחרת מאד, המתנדבת שלנו מצאה את הגורה ולמחרת לקחה אותה לווטרינר. המסכנה היתה תשושה ומיובשת ואנמית. כעת היא כבר מרגישה הרבה יותר טוב ואוהבת לשחק ולהתרוצץ. מתוקה להפליא. כרגע בת כחודשיים. תהיה בינונית עד גדולה.

Late at night this little puppy was rescued from outside a pub. She was dehydrated and exhausted, as well as anaemic. Pitzy the puppy feels much better now, and loves to run around and play. She's 2 months old, and will be medium to large. She's a real sweetie.

הגורון החמוד הזה נמצא אצלנו כבר כמעט חודשיים. כאשר הוא הגיע אלינו היה גור כל כך קטן שלא היה מסוגל לאכול באופן עצמאי. מישהו מצא אותו במכולה של זבל. למזלו, המוצא הכיר את המתנדבת שלנו והביא לה את הגורון המתוק. ויקה בילתה ימים ולילות בהנקת הגור ב"מטרנה גורים" מבקבוק של תינוק. עכשו הוא עצמאי ומחפש בית חם ואוהב. נוי שובב. אוהב לשחק ולהשתולל. מסתדר עם כלבים

This little kitten was saved almost 2 months ago from a garbage container. Our volunteer had to feed it by hand as it was too small to eat on its own. Now its a happy, naughty little kitten, big enough to need a home of his own. He loves to play and gets on well with dogs.

מוקה פתאום הופיעה היום בביה"ס נאות אשקלון באמצע ההפסקה הגדולה. השומר הוציא אותה החוצה והיא חזרה שוב ושוב עד שאחד הילדים הרים אותה וחיבק אותה. בכל בית-ספר אחר, היו מזמינים את העירייה לקחת את הקטנה לכלבייה העירונית. בנאות אשקלון, מזעיקים את חיה, אחראית על פינת החי ויו"ר עמותת הצלת חיות. מוקה הקטנה בילתה את כל היום בפינת החי. עכשו היא במשפחה אומנת. מאד חביבה וידידותית, מאד אוהבת לשחק. בת כשלושה חודשים. רוצה בית חם משלה.

Moka arrived at Neot Ashkelon school today in the middle of break. The school guard at the gate threw her out but she came back again and again until one kind child picked her up and hugged her. At any other school they would have called the city pound to come and collect her, but at Neot they called Khaya. Khaya who is in charge of the school's "animal corner" and chairman of Hatzalat Hayot. Moka spent all day in the animal corner. Now she is living with a foster family. She is so sweet and friendly, really loves to play and be petted and cuddled. She wants a home of her own!

Hatzalat Hayot (Animal Rescue) and the local Mishmar Ezrahi (civilian guards) have agreed to cooperate for the good of the city in general and animals in particular.

We are looking for volunteers above the age of 18, who are physically healthy and have no criminal or psychiatric record. Preference for volunteers after army service and/or with a current driver's license.

Our volunteers will function like the other "mishmar ezrahi" volunteers to prevent crimes, keep a watchful eye, break up or prevent fights etc. In addition, our volunteers will have a watchful eye out for cases of animal abuse in the city.
Our volunteers will receive the same training and authority that all mishmar ezrahi volunteers receive.

Dolly was seen wandering around the streets of Ashkelon on her own for a few days, before she was rescued.

She has no id tag, she was on heat and surrounded by male dogs.

We have had her spayed and she is now being cared for by one of our foster families.

שושה נמצאה נטושה באחד המושבים באזור אשקלון. כיוון שלא היה מקום לשים אותה, במשך שבוע עברה מבית לבית לבית. כרגע היא נמצאת בבית אומנה יציב והיא תאקלמה במהירות, אבל שושה צריכה בית משלה לתמיד. שושה בת כחודשיים וחצי. קיבלה חיסון ראשון , תילוע ופרעוש. היא מאד אוהבת לשחק ולקפוץ. תגדל לגודל בינוני.

Shoosha was found abandoned and alone on one of the moshavim near Ashkelon. For a week she was moved from house to house because we had nowhere to keep her. Now she is with a stable foster home but she desperately needs a permanent home of her own. She is two months old, she has been vaccinated and dewormed, she's cute and sweet and affectionate, her fur is soft as silk and she loves to play and cuddle. She will grown into a medium size dog.

היידי היא כלבה מקסימה שהצלנו מתנאים של רעב והתעללות. היא הגיעה לבית אומנה שלה מאוחר בלילה, מפוחדת, רזה ומורעבת אבל התאוששה מהר. היא כלבה חברותית, נחמדה ומאד חכמה. אוהבת לרוץ חופשי - בבית אומנה יש בחור שרץ והיא הכי אוהבת לרוץ למרחקים איתו. היא גם אוהבת לקפוץ גבוה ולפעמים יושבת על גג המלונה שלה  .

היא מאד אוהבת כשזורקים לה כדור אבל לא תמיד היא מחזירה אותו!

היא מסתדרת יפה עם כלבים אחרים ועם חתולים. היא כלבה מקסימה, יש לה אופי נוח, היא רגישה מאד ואפילו נפגעת כשצועקים לידה. היא כלבה יפה. היא מעוקרת וקיבלה חיסון משושה. היא מחונכת לצרכים ויכולה להיות בתוך בית ו/או בחצר.

היא לבנה עם כתמים של ג'ינג'י.

Heidi is a sweet, very intelligent dog who was rescued from abuse and starvation. She will be a great pet for someone as she is gentle, and very friendly. She is white with ginger patches. She has beautiful eyes that look as if they are outlined with black eyeliner.

She was not crazy about cats when she arrived but she easily got used to them at her foster home and now she likes them a lot.

She is a good runner, loves to go for a  run. She will run after anything you throw (but she won't always return it!) and she loves to run and play with her doggie friends. She also likes to jump up on things, she jumps up on the roof of her kennel.

 She has been spayed and has had her innoculations.

Dona was abandoned at Ahva College (near Gedera) about 2 weeks ago. She survived thanks to kind students who shared their sandwiches with her. She's a beautiful young dog, the vet says she is not even a year old. She is calm and sweet, gives back affection, loves attention. Dori was found early in the morning,shaking with fear and freezing cold. This gentle little soul was abandoned at the Dor Alon gas station in Ashkelon. He is about 5 months old. We took him to the vet for his checkup and he received his first vaccination. He looks a little like a cute fox and will stay small. He is a real sweetie!

ג'קי הוא כלב קטן יחסית, הוא צעיר כבן חצי שנה. קיבל את כל החיסונים שלו אבל עוד אין לו שבב. הוא יודע "לשבת" והוא לא עושה את הצרכים שלו בבית אלא מחכה לטיול שלו. הוא יודע להיות רגוע ושקט אבל כאשר הוא משחק הוא כמו ילד קטן, נהנה ומשתולל. כלב טוב למשפחה.

מותק היא כלבה מיוחדת. היא הגיעה אלינו לפני מספר חודשים מתנאים מאד קשים, משם הגיעו עוד כלבים, כולם מפוחדים ומורעבים. מותק היתה במצב הקשה ביותר מבין כולם. אצלנו היא עברה ניתוח אורטופדי לתיקון פריקה ישנה בכתף. מותק שוכנה אצל משפחה אומנת ומצבה השתפר פלאים. מותק היתה מלחתחילה כלבה מקסימה אבל החרדתיות שלה היתה קשה וגרמה לכך שלא יכולנו להציע אותה לאימוץ.

פנינו למאלף הכלבים אבנר רז "הלוחש לכלבים" שנענה בחיוב לעזור למותק. מותק עברה אילוף בתנאי פנסיון אצל אבנר רז. היא עדיין שם בפנסיון.

היום מותק היא כלבה מאושרת ומשוחררת והיא "מתנהגת כאילו גדלה בבית". היא מעוקרת ומחוסנת ויש לה שבב.

היא כלבה טובה, עדינה ורגישה, מחזירה אהבה ומוקירה טובה. היא זקוקה עכשו רק לדבר אחד נוסף - בית משלה לתמיד. הבעלים שלה יזכו לכלבה מיוחדת במינה שיוצרת קשר ומחזירה אהבת אמת. היא זקוקה למישהו שיגן עליה מכל רע ויאהב אותה כחברת נפש.

Motek has been living with the well known dog trainer Avner Raz, who is known as "The dog whisperer" and she is trained to obey commands. She is one of a number of dogs we rescued from a place of abuse and starvation, but she was in the worst condition of all. She underwent an orthopedic operation after her rescue from which she has fully recovered.

At first Motek was scared and anxious, but after a few months in a foster home her condition was much improved. We hesitated to give her out to adoption because she was still rather scared and so we turned to Avner Raz for help. He agreed to accept Motek and after a few months with Avner, Motek is now a happy and well adjusted dog, looking for a good home with someone who needs a doggie soul-mate. This is a very special, sensitive dog with a huge capacity for love.

She is spayed and has a chip.
