A kind animal lover who often saves animals found two puppies in the middle of the street. He found the male a good home. The female, Bonny, was slightly injured but was treated by a vet. Bonny is now looking for a good home and family to love her.

As you can see from the photos she looks like a German shepherd crossed with labrador, about 2 months old.

Two cute puppies. Brother and sister. Were abandoned in a playground. Someone must have thought that children would find them and take them. They did. Children found them and abused them. The female was kicked around like a football and the male was burned in various spots on his body.

They are healthy, beautiful and adorable puppies that deserve good loving homes.

They are about 3 months old. Have had one vaccination so far. They look as if they are miniature pinschers.

This beautiful dog was found near one of the malls in Ashkelon.

She was starving so she is thin, but she is recovering very nicely, very grateful to be rescued.

She is a particularly calm quiet sensitive dog. Very clever, very responsive. She has short fur and beautiful markings.

Her foster mom calls her "a real sweetie" .

היום קיבלנו דיווח על כלב כנעני, בן כשנה, שמחפש בית. הכלב שוטט במשך זמן מה באחד המושבים באזור. מישהו דאג לו לאוכל וטיפל בו. והיום הלוכד בא ולקח אותו לכלבייה בבאר טוביה. אם לא יאומץ תוך זמן קצר, הכלב הזה יומת.

הוא מאד ידידותי והבחורה שטיפלה בו מאד נקשרה אליו. היא לא יכולה להחזיק אותו אצלה כי יש לה מספר רב של כלבים בביתה.

הכלב לא מחוסן או מסורס, וכנראה לא מחונך לצרכים או מאולף. אבל יש לו מזג טוב ועם קצת מאמץ יהיה כלב נפלא.

אנחנו מחפשים עבורו בית מאמץ קבוע, או משפחה אומנת לזמן שמחפשים לו בית.

במידה ולא נמצא לו אחד מאלה תוך שבועיים, נזדקק לעזרה בהעברתו לכלבייה של צער בעלי- חיים בירושלים.

We received a report today about a friendly one-year old Cnaani. He spent several weeks roaming one of the moshavim in the area and someone took pity on him and fed him on a daily basis. today the dog catcher took him to the pound in BeerTuvia. If he isn't adopted in a short time, he will be killed. He is very friendly and the person that took care of him is very attached to him. She can't keep him because she already has a large number of dogs in her home. The dog is not neutered and not vaccinated. He is apparently not trained or housebroken. But he has a lovely personality and with a bit of effort should turn into a wonderful dog.

We are looking for a permanent adoptive home for him or for a foster family. If we don't find either within two weeks, we will need help moving him to Jerusalem to the pound at Tzaar Baalei Haim, or he will be put down.

He can be gotten out of the pound for the price of a microchip and rabies vaccination.

Special Notice about Lag B'Omer

Shocking but true.

In the last few years, there is a gruesome new "custom" associated with Lag B'Omer.

Children and teens collect kittens, puppies or cats and throw them live into the bonfires. This usually occurs at a late hour - when the kids are unsupervised after the adults have left, or with children at bonfires that are unattended by adults.

Look out for a carton near the bonfire that seems not to contain food and equipment. Please keep an eye on any bonfires near you , and join us in patrolling the fires, to prevent this happening.

If you find such a carton, please immediately remove and keep safe and call Khaya: 050-5909025 or the municipality 106, even at a late hour, or the next morning.
